B.TECH { Fundamental step in Dip}

In this lecture we will discuss about fundamental steps in dip.

 Fundamental steps in Digital image processing:-

All fundamental steps are given in diagram .

Image Acquisition:- in this step image is captured by a sensor and digitized , if the output of the camera or sensor is not already in digital form. An analog to digital converter (ADC) digitized it.

Image Enhancement:- is the process of maintaining an image so that the result is more suitable than the original .

Image restoration:- 1. improving the appearance of the image. 2) tend to be mathematically or probabilities model of image degradation .

Color image processing:- use the color of the image to extract feature of interest in an image.

Wavelets:- these are the foundation for representing image in various degree of resolution.
